If there is a work to be done, a mission to be accomplished, a mandate to be executed and The Lord has chosen you to fulfill it, see it as a privilege and go do it with gladness. No questions asked.  When God asks you to do something, just do it. If you don’t do it, it’s still going to be done. God will find another vessel who is willing, obedient and ready to complete the task. There are many pure, clean and humble vessels who are ready to say: Here I am, Lord. Send me. In some cases, if no one is willing, then the work of The Lord may remain undone. It would be unfortunate to let that call pass you by, just because you feel unqualified, just because you are scared, just because you want to get your life “together” or because you are too busy building your own little kingdom that you have become too shortsighted to even see the bigger picture, which is the kingdom of God. It would be such a shame to miss out on the opportunity to be part of the move of God, to be used by Him for His glory. When God calls you to do something, He also equips you but you have to have faith in Him.

You know,  your obedience will benefit many people that you don’t even know yet. Everything God does has a purpose and that purpose is always good. And ultimately it is always beneficial for us, in the long run. Imagine if Abraham had not been obedient, what would have happened? I am sure, God would have used someone else but maybe it would have taken longer for the promises to be fulfilled because someone decided to be disobedient. When we do not obey God’s call on our lives, we put ourselves in a very tough position. In fact it’s a very selfish decision. When we keep putting off what we are supposed to be doing, it has a negative impact, not just on us, but also on people around us, as well as generations to come. Disobedience is a selfish act for whether we realize it or not, it does negatively affect the world around us. On the other hand, your obedience can save the world. Starting with you, your family and a small circle of people close to you but it’s up to you. The impact you will have is determined by how fast you move after hearing God’s voice. When God speaks to you, do you doubt? Do you consult a hundred people before you act on His demand/request or do you drop whatever you have in your hands so to speak and get moving?

I encourage and challenge you to get moving as soon as possible.
